Angus Porter
Director of Golf
Angus Porter is our Director of Golf and looks after the Golf Shop Business and all Golf Operations at the club. Angus is a full certified PGA Professional and is advanced in Coaching, Game Development & Management. Angus completed his three year PGA Traineeship at Carbrook and then moved in to the Club’s Administration for 4 years before taking on this current role managing the Golf Shop business.
Favourite Area of the Game – Short Game & Puttin.
Tony Di Tommaso
Senior Golf Professional
Tony has been our Head Club Professional since April 1991 and has certainly been through the good and bad times at the Club. He is now taking a step back from managing the business but will continue on as a pivotal part of our Golf Shop team as a Senior Golf Professional. Tony is a certified PGA Professional and has been for 36 years. Tony has fostered 11 Trainee Professionals through his career, including the current General Manager Scott Wagstaff, and Director of Golf Angus Porter.
Favourite Area of the Game – Iron Play.

Certified PGA Member 25+ Years as the Head Professional at Carbrook Golf Club.
Paul Di Tommaso
Assistant PGA Professional
Paul is one our longest serving Professionals having been at the Club since the early 1990’s although had a few years away from the Club in the latter part of the 90s. Paul and his brother Tony have worked as a team to deliver the golf services for the Club across the last 3 decades and are the face of the Club.

Danny Bird
PGA Professional | Development Coach
Danny joined our team in August 2022 after working at the nearby Windaroo Lakes for many years. Danny is one of the most dedicated golf coaches in the region specialising in individual and group based learning. Danny spends some of his time in the Golf Shop as he loves servicing the needs of our members as well as coaching as much as he can. He is available for individual lessons.
Emily Byrne
PGA Associate Professional
Emily is one of our Associate Professionals completing her 3 year PGA Membership Pathways Program under the guidance of Angus Porter. Emily is in her 2nd year of her training and we are excited for what the future holds.
